Job description

Oversee, direct and train Injection Molding Set-up and Processing Technicians in the daily set-up, processing and changeover of work cells. Direct initiatives including safety, housekeeping, efficiency, quality and troubleshooting as directly related to this department, in the support of production and delivery goals. Develop and maintain Scientific Molding principals and other standard work procedures so that all technicians follow similar, well defined and efficient methods. Implement appropriate LEAN manufacturing techniques such as Single Minute Exchange of Die (SMED) along with other methodologies that will deliver cost savings and continuous improvements.

***External candidates receive a $500 BONUS after 90 days of employment (must meet performance and attendance reqirements). 


• Five years of injection mold set-up experience and processing experience
• Three years of supervisory experience
• Two year college degree or technical certificate
• Strong computer skills (i.e Microsoft Office, Outlook, IQMS)
• Maintain open communication with fellow employees, supervision and management and remain open to others’ ideas and exhibits willingness to try new things
• Prioritize and plans work activities and uses time efficiently
• Must possess the ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, fractions and decimals
