Job description

The Molding Shift Manager is responsible for the daily activities related to the manufacturing of components and/or finished product in the Molding Department. They provide leadership and motivation to technical and hourly employees to achieve desired quality, quantity, service and cost standards through safe and proper utilization of materials and equipment.  This role also manages day to day production activities to ensure that production schedules are met, quality parts are being produced, and target overall equipment effectiveness is met or exceeded daily.

***External candidates receive a $500 BONUS after 90 days of employment (must meet performance and attendance reqirements). 

Qualifications:                        

  • Associates degree or equivalent technical schooling and 3-5 years related injection molding experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
  • Minimum five years supervisory experience preferred or a demonstrated ability to lead people. 
  • Knowledge and experience with plastic injection molding, including setup, fault analysis and process improvement. 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are required. 
  • Demonstrated proficiency with computers including Word, Excel and Outlook.
