Mortgage Lender Assistant
Frandsen Bank & Trust is a growing company looking for a Centralized Mortgage Lender Assistant for our Residential Operations Center. This position will involve being a resource for our lenders and work directly with customers, facilitating locking rates and managing the lock desk of Residential 1-4 family mortgages sold to the secondary market. Applicants will have an Associate’s degree (AA) or higher from an accredited college or university; may be substituted with a minimum of 2 years work related experience in the mortgage area; specifically loan background. A Secondary Market product knowledge and guidelines is preferred but not required. Other primary responsibilities include but not limited to, preparing regulatory disclosures, interpreting banking policies while analyzing property and income documentation, customer service and assisting our lenders with their needs. This is a non-exempt, full-time position with an excellent benefit package.
The successful candidate will have proven time management, organizational and computer skills; will be subject to a skills test. Candidates must have an eye for detail, work efficiently and cooperatively, be positive and flexible.
